It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

We didn't mean to wait until "Black Friday" to reveal our Holiday dressses, but a stomach bug put us behind schedule.  We're back on track and could hardly wait to show you what we've been working on!  We have four styles of dresses, all "jumper" styles to be worn over a shirt, top, turtleneck or onesie. 

Snowflake Pinafore

Shown above is our Snowflake Pinafore.  The very full skirt is gathered onto a fully lined bodice.  The bodice and skirt band are red cotton and the skirt and straps are a red, white and green snowflake print.  The apron is fully lined, white cotton embellished with giant Ric Rac and red embroidered snowflakes, two of which are aprx. 2-1/2 inches and the largest is about 3-1/2 inches.  While each apron features one large and two smaller snowflakes each one is different - just like real snowflakes!!  So each Snowflake Pinafore is unique.  The shoulder straps slip through a buttonhole and tie in a knot, which makes adjustment simple. The skirt is very full. 

The Snowflake Pinafore is available for $45.95 in the following sizes:  6-12 mos. ( 17-23 pounds), 12-18 months (22-27 pounds), 18-24 months (27-30 pounds).  Other sizes available by custom order: 2T, 3T, 4T ($7 additional) and 5, 6, 7, 8 ($10 additional).  Please email for additional sizing questions.

There's room on the bodice to embroider your little girl's monogram or even a short name.

Candy Cane

Our classic A-line style Candy Cane jumper features two candy canes appliqued in the center front with a white grosgrain bow tied in the center (the grosgrain ribbon is securely sewn on).  The candy canes, hem band and covered buttons are all in a coordinating fabric with holly leaves and berries.  White Ric Rac sets off the hem band. Partially lined (self-facings and hem band.)

The Candy Cane jumper is available for $34.95 in the following sizes:  Small (13-17 pounds), Medium (18-21 pounds) and Large (22-25 pounds).  Other sizes available by special order, as are Little Brother Shortalls (short overalls).  Email with any questions about sizing.

Shiny Brite

Our Shiny Brite Dress is a "pillow case" style - A-line skirt with ribbon ties at the shoulder.  Our Shiny Brite dress has a modern flair to it, with the red, bright and light pink and lime and grass green retro-look garland with snowflake accent patterned fabric.  For our Pink/Lime version showsn above, we've added bright and light pink stripe ribbon ties.  We've appliqued a pink ornament with pink and lime stitching, dangling from Giant Lime Green Ric Rac, topped off with a bow which matches the ties. Embroider your little one's monogram in Lime on the Ornament (included in the price!!). 

We can also make the ornament in red or green, with the giant Ric Rac in Red, and Red ribbon ties at the shoulder. Just let us know!  For either colorway, the monogram is available in cursive or block font.  Shown below is a close up of a red ornament with the monogram in cursive.

Peppermint Patty

Here's another pillow case style dress, in an all over peppermint print with an appliqued peppermint and tulle "wrapper".  Red ribbon ties at shoulder.  Here's a close up of the peppermint applique.

Pillowcase style dresses are very versatile because they can be worn for more than one season - just let out the ribbon ties a bit and/or pair them with leggings for a tunic look.

Care information for our dresses:  Each dress has been hand made using quality materials.  All fabrics have been pre-washed.  Our clothing features LOTS of embellishments.  For best results, we recommend hand washing in cold water, no bleach, do not wring, hang or lay flat to dry.  Iron fabrics on cotton setting, steam and spray starch recommended. Iron embellishments (ribbons, tulle, embroidery, etc. on warm setting only!).  We've noticed that buttons now have a warning on the label: don't use on clothes for children under age 14, which is a little ridiculous, but common sense precautions are in order.  Make sure buttons or other embellishments are secure before each use.  Covered buttons are two-piece, please check to make sure they're secure before each use.

Custom Order for Bentley!

Bentley will be sporting his custom Monogrammed Turkey Onesie along with his custom Burp Cloth for his First Thanksgiving.  We made up LOTS of little Pillowcase Dresses with the same turkey applique for a lot of little girls.  Moms of little boys want their babies to look cute too!  We've used various autumn-themed fabrics and ribbon loops that look like feathers!

Handmade Felt Hair Clips!

We're making Felt Hair Clips in lots of fun styles - take a look!
Here's a little Turkey hairclip in fun fall colors.  The little gobbler is securely attached to a brown felt Snap Clip Cover.  Isn't he CuTe!!

Owl's are IN right now and we have lots of them.  In the last post we showed a Hair Bow Holder and we also have lots of adorable Owl Hair Clips.  We had a customer request pins for teacher gifts, so I thought I would show you one.  This is the large Owl  - he makes a great pin or clip for a headband.  Not shown are Owl Hair Clips, which are smaller versions of the Owl shown below attached to a Snap Clip Cover. We've got Owls in just about every color combination you could imagine. 

Thinking about what your little one will be wearing during the Holidays or what to put in her stocking?  How about our Initial Clips!  Shown below are two styles, all done up in Christmas Red.  The top one is a lower case block letter with dots around the circle.  The bottom one has a capital letter in Curlz font with a chainstitch border.  Each circle is securely fastened to a matching Snap Clip Holder.  See below for a picture of the back of the snap clip. We can make the Initial Clips in a any color combination - what about team  colors, or to match school uniforms, or get several to match all her outfits.  What a perfect gift too.

Here's a sweet little Gingerbread Hair Clip.  There's a teeny-tiny little red bow attached.  The little Gingerbread Girl is securely attached to a Red Snap Clip.

Flower and Owl Bow Holders Were Wildly Popular at the Rosenberg Peddler Show

We had two different types of handmade bow holders at the show:  Owl and Flower.  We sold almost all of the ones we brought but we received TONS of special orders, which we just finished up tonight.  I took a few pics indoors with only the room light so the colors look a little washed out but I think you can see how cute they turned out. These are all going out in the mail tomorrow.  Here are a few of my favorites:





This Owl Bow Holder was ordered for a new Baby Girl whose Mother decorated her nursery in Earth Tones - no pink for this little Girl!  We embroidered her initial on the fabric inset.  The long (36") ribbon is olive green with brown dots.  Cute!!

The most popular style of Flower Bow Holder was this Black & White Damask Print Ribbon with a light pink flower, black center, and initial in light pink.  The Font is "Curlz".






This next Flower Bow Holder is my favorite - the colors remind me of Rainbow Sherbet.  It's actually much brighter than this pic shows, very cute!
